The Maine State Bar Association, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, the Maine Medical Association, the Maine Osteopathic Association, and the Maine Chiropractic Association have developed a Code of Cooperation for civil proceedings. The code involves medical reports and records, conferences between the attorney and physician, court testimony, depositions of the physician, physician's bill for medical services rendered to patients, mediation, and social relations.
