When family law and real estate law intersect, some challenging issues can arise. These issues range from defective abstracts of divorce judgments, to tax consequences from real estate sales, to communicating with sellers who have a pending divorce action. Our panelists have compiled a list of real problems that they and other practitioners have faced when these two practice areas collide. The moderator will pose scenarios to the panelists and obtain practical solutions for resolution. This seminar is intended to raise your awareness about the needs and requirements of each practice area and provide helpful tips for getting it right the first time.
