As an attorney, you are constantly called on to stay motivated and on task -- an especially tough challenge when you are in the court room and other high stress contexts that bring out negativity in others.  And it can be particularly hard to be positive amid the current pandemic when people are exuding fear and discouragement.

This live webinar will help you to better embrace and engage naysayers, nitpickers, and other glass-half-empty influences so that you can be less distracted by negativity at work – and in life – and get your job done with less resistance.

You will learn how to:
  • Appreciate the value of pessimism.  (yes, it’s true; pessimists aren’t all bad!)
  • Understand how to fuel your performance with healthy optimism (most of us have optimism all wrong and it’s stressing us out!)
  • Identify and apply five strategies for decreasing undo negativity.
  • Practice practical techniques for sustaining these strategies when obstructed by overly negative people
  •  Improve client interactions from a more encouraging perspective
