Lawyers and financial professionals can often interact with clients, colleagues and other individuals who can really test patience and push buttons. This seminar will focus on strategies for handling tricky personalities with greater command and without losing your cool.
Specifically, you will learn how to engage the following people in more rational, productive conversations:
  • Angry clients who aren’t listening and just don’t seem to “get it.”
  • Scared and upset clients who become increasingly overwhelmed as you try to explain.
  • Colleagues who are ultra-certain of their point of view, and become combative when you try
    to present yours.
  • Negative clients and colleagues who drain your energy.
  • Manipulative people who can’t be trusted.
  • Anybody else in your professional or personal life who you may have trouble getting through
to, collaborating with, or gaining cooperation from.
Presenter:Amy Wood, Psy.D.,Falmouth

I have attended two of her programs on dealing with difficult clients and attorneys and gained excellent insight and strategies for handling the challenging personalities that all attorneys encounter."
