The social media horror stories discussed during this webinar will cover free speech, copyright, trademark, defamation, employment law, privacy, terroristic threats, cyberbullying, and even revenge porn. In all of these stories, the person could have easily prevented their problems if they understood the law or were more thoughtful about their word choices.

Remember the law cares about what you said, not what you meant and just because you didn't get in trouble this time, it doesn't mean you didn't do something wrong. Ruth will also share two rules of thumb which will keep most people out of trouble most of the time. All of this will be shared with Ruth's lighthearted and witty style that makes the law understandable with plenty of opportunities for your questions.
