The purposes of this Section are:

1. to study and report on continuing developments in the law affecting labor relations;
   
   
2. to provide a forum for members of the Association interested in the field of labor relations law to meet and confer;
   
   
3. to assist the professional growth and development of practitioners in the field of labor relations law;
   
   
4. to initiate and participate in Bar Association sponsored CLE programs;
   
   
5. to undertake any other necessary actions deemed appropriate by the Section and Maine State Bar Association in the area of labor and employment law.
