Maine Title Standards


Sold only by the Maine State Bar Association, the Standards of Title is a valuable book for real estate attorneys, abstractors, title insurance companies, etc. It provides guidance on a variety of questions that arise during the course of a real estate transaction. The book was prepared by the Real Estate and Title Section of the Maine State Bar Association. It is in a loose-leaf binder format.

 

Title Standard Revisions

Attorneys who own the Standards of Title may subscribe to the revisions to the Standards of Title. The Section meets three times per year to work on revisions. Usually, one to two sets of revisions are released each year.
