LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
WORK SESSION ON JUDICIAL BRANCH BUDGET SCHEDULED
The Judiciary Committee has scheduled work sessions regarding all of the proposed budgets (Judicial, Attorney General, Pine Tree Legal) for the afternoon of Thursday, March 5, 2009. The work session will start at 1:00 p.m., and will be a review of all of the proposed budgets, with the goal for the Committee to reach its recommendations to submit to the Appropriations Committee.
STATE OF THE STATE
The State of the State address has been scheduled for March 10, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

We encourage all interested members to review the Legislative Database now that public hearings and work sessions are being held frequently by the various Joint Standing Committees. If you identify bills of interest or concerns, please remember to notify your Section leaders, so they are aware of your interest.
