Will handle the process for awarding the Caroline Duby Glassman 
award, including soliciting nominations for the award, selecting a 
nominee (who must be approved by the MSBA), and publicizing 
the receipt of the award.  The Committee will also select a speaker 
to describe the award recipient and present the award to her.  The 
Committee will also explore other awards for women attorneys 
and, to the extent possible, solicit nominees, select a candidate or 
candidates, engage in the award application process, and publicize 
any award that is given as a result of the Committee's efforts. For 
example, to the extent possible, the Committee will continue its 
efforts to promote the award of the ABA Margaret Brent Award 
and the YWCA Twin Award.

Will come up with a new design for the Glassman Award, will 
arrange for a piece that best represents the mission of the Glassman 
Award, within budget, and that can be readily obtained with ease, 
with a 5 year price guarantee.  The price will be no more than the 
cost budgeted in 2002.  The Committee will do what needs to be 
done to get approval from all the WLS members prior to actual 
piece selection with the vendor, with the details going to the co
chairs who will work with the MSBA on the email vote needed to 
secure such approval.  The Committee will be responsible for 
making sure that the award is ready for presentation at the awards 
luncheon.
